About

A friendlier way to put Claude to work.

ClickTerm is a desktop app for people who pay for Claude AI but don't live in a terminal.

ClickTerm turns Claude AI into a tool anyone can use to build real desktop apps. You describe what you want in plain English; Claude plans, builds, tests, and designs it; the finished app saves to a folder on your computer and runs locally — no cloud, no servers, no accounts.

It works with your existing Claude Pro or Max subscription. ClickTerm doesn't charge for Claude usage — that runs against your own plan. The app itself is free to download and use; an optional Pro upgrade lifts the free-tier limits.

Everything you build lives in your ClickTerm gallery — your own little shelf of apps, right there when you open ClickTerm. Click one to use it, tweak it whenever you want, run a few side by side. Nothing gets shipped to a cloud, nothing gets tracked, and there's no account to sign in to.

A note from the creator

Why I built ClickTerm.

I've been a Claude Max subscriber for a while now. As a full-stack engineer with six years in the terminal, Claude Code clicks for me — I open a shell, type what I want, and out comes the app.

I also use Claude Desktop. It's polished, and if you want the full surface — chat, automations, co-working on documents, Claude Code itself — it's the right place. But it's a heavyweight client, and the parts that actually build apps still lean coder-first. Some subscribers also build in Claude on the web; those apps live on Anthropic's servers, and yes, you can pull them down to your laptop — but only if you're comfortable cloning a repo, installing dependencies, and running a dev server.

That's the gap I kept seeing. People are paying for Claude, the intelligence is right there, but the only way to turn it into something that lives on your machine is to learn the terminal.

ClickTerm is the wrapper I wish they could've had. Same Claude Code engine. Your subscription, your machine, your apps — pointed at people who don't want to learn what npm, /clear, or a PATH is. Describe what you want, hit a button, watch a real desktop app land in a folder on your computer.
